Combustion System

Regenerative systems use reversing flow and heat-storage media to recover flue-gas heat, while low-NOx diffusion systems combine heat recovery with diffusion-combustion control. Both arrangements must match the existing chamber, burners, fans, valves, ducts and control system.

Selection points

  • Furnace type, chamber size, operating temperature and target production rate
  • Fuel type, gas pressure, burner quantity and control requirements
  • Fuel-use, exhaust-temperature or NOx target
  • Existing fans, valves, ducts, PLC and available installation space
  • Interfaces for a new furnace or retrofit project
