2003 - 2005

  • The principal founder entered the recycled-aluminum melting, casting and equipment manufacturing sector.

  • One of the founders studied in Japan and worked on automation equipment and related technical services supporting Toyota and Mitsubishi.

  • Foshan Lanyu Machinery Equipment Co., Ltd. was established in November 2016.

  • Products were exported to Vietnam, Indonesia and other markets.
  • An improved regenerative combustion system reduced natural gas consumption to below 50 m³ per metric ton of aluminum.
  • A patent was granted for a fixed-sequence arrangement system.

2018

  • The company expanded into African and European markets.
  • Lanyu joined the Intellectual Property Branch of the China General Chamber of Commerce.
  • The company received Guangdong’s Contract-Honoring and Creditworthy Enterprise certificate.
  • A patent was granted for a demolding-detection device used on non-ferrous metal casting machines.

Annual sales exceeded RMB 50 million

2019

  • Products were sold in the Philippines, Malaysia, Thailand, India, other Southeast Asian markets and the Middle East.
  • The robotic ingot palletizing system received a Guangdong High-Tech Product certificate.
  • The aluminum melting furnace, ingot casting line and supporting equipment received a Guangdong High-Tech Product certificate.

2020

  • A patent was granted for a robot palletizing feed arm.
  • A patent was granted for a telescopic feeding robot gripper.
  • A patent was granted for vertical aluminum dross processing equipment.
  • A patent was granted for a high-efficiency, low-dust dross cooling drum.

2021 - 2022

  • Lanyu strengthened coordination across R&D, manufacturing, engineering, global marketing and lifecycle services for complete aluminum melting and casting equipment.
  • An integrated service chain took shape, covering solution design, equipment manufacturing, site construction and after-sales operations.

  • The aluminum melting equipment and aluminum dross treatment equipment received utility model patents.

Core technologies received national patent grants

2025

  • The high-efficiency waste heat recovery method received an invention patent in April 2025.
  • Technology development continued across low-NOx combustion, waste heat recovery and intelligent control.

2026

  • The Shishan factory, Guanyao processing center and other facilities reached a combined area of 28,000 m², with annual sales of approximately RMB 200 million and 200+ customers served.
  • With 30+ core technology patents and branches in Hunan and Hubei, Lanyu established group-based operations and an integrated industrial chain.
  • Products are exported in volume to Southeast Asia, Africa, the Middle East and Europe.
  • Integrated whole-plant solutions cover design, equipment manufacturing, site construction and after-sales operations.
