Overview
The aluminum dross cooling and screening drum works with a rotary furnace to process hot dross. Water spray or immersion cooling rapidly reduces dross temperature from above 700°C to below 50°C, limiting continued combustion and oxidation. The system includes a water tank, cooling drum, milling drum, screening drum and controls. Drum diameters are available in 1200, 1600, 1900 and 2200 models, with 7, 9, 12 and 14 meter length options.
