Double-Chamber Side-Well Aluminum Melting Furnace
Double-chamber side-well furnace for UBC, chips, radiator scrap and other light-gauge aluminum, configurable for capacity, fuel, charging and low-NOx combustion.
Table of Contents
Primary Applications
The double-chamber side-well furnace is used to remelt aluminum chips, used beverage cans, radiator scrap and other light-gauge scrap. Its two chambers melt material in hot aluminum with less direct flame contact; current configuration data specifies a recovery-rate improvement of more than 2%–3% over conventional furnace layouts and throughput of 3–10 tonnes per hour for chips or cans.
Overseas Project Support
For export projects, Lanyu can configure the double-chamber side-well aluminum melting furnace around local fuel or power conditions, plant layout, automation level, operator workflow and environmental requirements. The furnace is most useful when the buyer needs to process light scrap with less direct flame contact and higher metal recovery.
